MOTHERPIECE

Child child love whilst you can
For SHE takes providence outside reach
That ne'er there's a limit to her guard.
And outta her WILL she want you Rich.
But ring loudly, proudly HER love bell.
Through love only can you pay her well.

Till She's long gone poor Jedi
Love is her only strong note to take.
'member her days 'fore she'd die-d
Her Scrubs brings bread to your plate.
Her Wings as clothin' as you lie-d
Her Sweet light rests upon your eyes.
In Whose shadow you take your sleep?

Listen child love while you may.
Shine up your love as you make hay.
Though she's lived so short as a day.
By the lessons she wish'd to teach.
Her Maternal love made a Motherpiece.
