Little is Much

Douglas H. Mc Clintock 1934 (Sarnia, Ontario)

To err is human,
To believe is divine,
In life is  anything certain ?
To look beyond and not on the sideline !

Should we plan for the future
And not just for today ?
We are not promised tomorrow
To day is a gift called the present !

For in giving, we actually receive,
Storing rewards in heaven.
Put our mind to work, only believe
To hear the words good and faithful servant !

To help someone is what we do,
A girl tossing live sea shells on the beach
To catch the waves further out,
The beach was full of sea shells !

When asked by a passerby
There are millions on the beach, why bother ?
These few I throw in the waves, the girl said,
Will live yet for another day !

So if you can't do everything, do something,
A little is much when love is there,
A simile, handshake or a hello
Is something we all can do !

Little is much
When God is in it,
Faith as large as a mustard seed
Is all I will ever need !

Ah, a spelling mistake, the world takes notice !I am sure everyone would smile at this mistake ! Smile and the world smiles with you. Weep and you weep alone !

Very insightful. I believe there is a spelling error where you meant to write, smile. Other than that, this is great!
