the most

Will I ever be the richest man
Will I ever be the fastest
Smartest
Or quickest without a doubt
I must be statistically average
There must be someone who’s the most
All winners come first

Am I first at not caring
Not counting my chickens nor putting my eggs in one basket
First at looking past false egos and futures
Maybe I’m first at trying the hardest
Surely, I’d be first at something you can’t even count
Firstly I’m loved, and willing and ready to give my love onto others
Mostly, I’m kind.
Onto others I mostly wish them the best

Is it wrong to want to the most
Am I the most happy
The coldest person on the clammiest autumn day
Probably the most dramatic as I type upon the page
I can’t possibly be the most anything
Not even first to know it’s true
