Thoughts of a black man

The black man endures years of deception, rejections, backlash because of color their skin,
Yet, his determation made him overlook discrimination,
Slavery had some men scared from the enslaved views that corrupted their minds from the slave mater's,
You were never meant to be a savage or a thug,
That mentality was taught to hate yourself,
hate your own people and other races,
You're strong, kind, and receptable,
"A king"

About this poem
