The Life of Death

Here’s a little story,
about my friend called dope.
Thought I really needed him,
Thought he’d help me cope.
So I took him in,
it was good at first.
As time went by,
it got a little worse.
You wouldn’t believe,
what he wanted from Me.
Took all my money,
Then took my family.
I tell lies,
To everyone I know.
Just to have him by me,
Wherever I go.
I gave it all up,
Everything I had.
To keep him happy,
And my family sad.
Now I sit here,
with nothing but pain.
My pal has left me,
Totally insane.
