Glimpse of Nature

O nature,foster mother of mankind
Existing beyond time and space
Healing deep and darkest wounds
Restoring boundless serenity.

Riding down memory lanes
Took a nap in the lap of Nature
Listening to the chirping sounds
Echoed by nested birds

Vision of nature's glory
Awakened my dying soul
Dazzling rays of sun
Spreading a spectrum of fluctuating colours
Raindrops clinging to blades of grass
Reviving darling buds of May

Wandering through lofty trees and tangled bushes
Had an eye on buzzing bees
Sipping candy coated honey
Filled in flowers and ripened fruits

Relieving from haunting memories
Rejuvenated soul I possess
Lending ears to the beckoning call of nature
To be an angel in fairylands.
