Transient Life

Dr. Suman Acharjee 1986 (Udaipur Tripura)

Grips my spirit & draws me back.
My body screams skull yawns.
My cowardice releases venom.
No pain it causes but my body moves.
Zombie I become, my soul shoves.

Lava alike flood of blood represents the sense of revolt against everything which is traditionally approved in the society. And this sense of revolt hinders the path of progress which is clear by the line 'draws me back'. The person who lives such a life has gone addicted of living a satanic life even after convincing the negative way of life. That's why, the concerned person's material body screams & is dried up of positive way of thinking. Here 'skull' represents negativity & 'yawns' represents sloth way of living. Such a person is coward in the sense that even after realizing the mistake he/she is unable to get rid of negative way of living. The
