The Monster
Thinking too myself as skies turn grey
Emptiness runs through my face as I'm lead astray
Distant from happiness and love and pretend to seem okay
There is still a monster in me that insists to play
Faith dulling seeming endless amounts away
Finding myself lonesome at the end of each day
Dealing with sobriety my life becoming array
Subconscious blurs effecting myself of the monstrous sway
Temptation urging only to propelled my life straight into hell
As I sit rare In a clear mind wanting too expell
Continuing these things through life will only burn like fires of hell
By my lonesome I sit and think about the monster and dwell
Feeling casted under a spell Always trying to ease out and live well
My demons come too haunt me
Young but carrying many stories to tell
Contemplating on victory and lose as if life's my only competition
Repeating these vass sins like a machine of strong repetition
Feeling strong still more then ever as if I've swallowed countless rounds of ammunition
Still afraid inside I sit in midst of reminition
Finding myself distant from my savior
Being non commitive to the above as if I'm refusing admission
Still through these times I prevail with a smile that glistens
