The last train

The last train of the day
At last came by my way
I can't turn back now
Coz it is my last hope.

I'm coming for you ,
With tremors and chills ,
painting my soul.
I have one four three stories
To tell about.

And I have rehearsed
like 5201314 times.
I know I am scared,
that this might be our last.
But I don't want to end this fast.

The train came to a halt
Barely I can walk .
Flowers are showering,
Moonlight is cheering
Breeze is pushing me.

I saw you from a distance
Under the moonlight,
You are standing all alone
In this winter night.

I thanked you in my mind
For always being kind.

I thanked you in my mind,
Coz you were waiting for me
Amidst the cold weather.

But for one brief moment
my soul told me,
"What if it might be your last bye?"

I pulled me back
And ran again as I always do.

Maybe the winter never ends for me.

About this poem

Its a poem I got inspired from people around me, on how they regret a moment everyday , how much of secrets they have, to tell but didn't have guts , who always calculate the consequences that never ever gonna happen, who just try to live ,pleasing and impressing others . It's for them and for me
