Sometimes I wonder

Michele Martin 1973 (San jose)

"Sometimes I wonder "

 Sometimes I wonder,
     What you expected,
The first time our eyes,
      Ever connected.

Am I not what u wanted ?
The second best thing,
Just someone to talk to ,
       When the telephone rings? !

The love I once felt ,
  Was so war and tender,
It's been so long since I've felt this,
        It's hard to remember.

His warm gentle touch ,
  His sweet tender kiss ,
     How could someone like that,
                Change Into ,
                     Someone like this ?

    "  Sometimes I wonder ".
                           The End .

About this poem

I wrote this poem after finding out that my baby sister had slept with my baby daddy while I was expecting our child about to give birth.i picked up a pen and these words just flowed out and it's a great poemthat came from one of the worst times in my life and it made me realize that no matter how hard things are that I may be going through that in the end I'll be ok no matter what and also made me realize that I can't understand some things and some things don't need to be understood , they say that some things are better left unsaid and it's so true . ..!
