The Seed of 1978

The Seed of 1978

Planted on Earth in 1978
In the midst of a war
With a fight amongst races,
How will this seed soar?

A seed united by two sources
Both different in many ways
Neither aware of trying times ahead
Nor how the growth of the seed soon plays

Grounded by the strength of the pair
Each pulling as the seedling grows
Sprouting out in different directions
The fragile foundation of the seed exposed

Fighting battles before maturity
Roots covered by the storms
Losing sight of the guiding light
Not able to properly transform

Misled by cracks of a wrong way path
Hiding in the shadows of the darkness
Until hit by one last storm
Embracing the aftermath of calmness

The Seed of 1978
Found the light

And once again began to sprout
To stay alive she vowed to fight

Conquering every storm
Never again living in the shadows
Growing strong in full blossom
Her dander spreads as the wind blows

The sweetness of her dander,
Lingering through the air
Enhancing the Beauty of the World
To the seed of 1978, nothing can compare
