The S.A.S

Amidst the shadows of the night,
A soldier creeps, his steps so light.
A member of the S.A.S so brave,
His country's honor, his life to save.

Through the jungle he does roam,
With courage in his heart, and a mission to own.
He takes a breath, and starts his run,
The enemy's weapons, he seeks to shun.

He moves with skill and silent grace,
A warrior born to lead the chase.
He spots his target, his aim is true,
The fight is on, he knows what to do.

He charges forth, his heart so pure,
His country's flag, he'll die to secure.
The bullets fly, the battle rages,
The soldier fights, through pain and ages.

His comrades fall, but he fights on,
The enemy's ranks, he'll take them down.
He's wounded now, but still he stands,
His strength and courage, in his hands.

With one last burst of strength and might,
The soldier falls, in the midst of the fight.
His country mourns, his name is known,
A hero's sacrifice, his story shown.

In memory of the S.A.S soldier brave,
His life was lost, his country he gave.
May his spirit soar, in the heavens above,
A true patriot, a symbol of love.
