The Bar

The Bar

I visit a bar for food and Beer, and probably spend three grand a year.
Added to that, six hundred in tips,
a tidy sum I must admit.

Half price spaghetti and wine by the glass, a waitress dressed up like, ( I’ll take a pass ).

When out of the darkness, there came a great flash.
Did he really just take a pic of her ash.

Right then and there, the air left the room.  The laughter and fun, all turned into gloom.

The upset people, began crying foul,
you took a picture!, that’s not allowed.

I took a picture, I must confess.
An innocent thing, not up her dress!

Not in the ladies room, not in the shower.
Just waiting on tables,
One late evening hour.

You would think I broke,
Some Cardinal law,
Then she came over
and started to squall.

To the King she ran with
Her ass on fire
I’d broken the law,
The situation was dire.

The King decided to send me a text, God Forbid you’ve ruffled the nest!

You took a picture,
Without asking first, a cardinal sin at least!, maybe worse!

I went out last night for a burger and beer,
And right behind me
the same lady appears.

I knew her panties were still in a twist.
“You cant leave it alone” she shouted and left.

I finished my beer,
made my way home.
Decided to write down,
this little poem.
