Three Thrones
Sanni- Arewa Nifemi 1994 (Akure)
"One day you will be one with the earth again,
The same earth you arrogantly stomped on.
And everything you built would lean over as if paying homage to you,
But they'll never stand upright again,
Because they would always want to lean close to you.
Now, walk carefully so you are not dug too deep,
Swim gleefully so the water does not carry your soul away,
And if you must fly, never say 'Angels don't do more than this',
The guardians of each throne choose carefully what they are insulted by."
