This Freedom

Don't cry for me he said I'm ok.
Dont hold onto the grief and the pain
You too will be here someday,
although our journeys won't be the same
I still hear and see you when I can
I can feel your love and your loss
This place I am wasn't planned
Although I don't regret that I crossed
The freedom of love is all around me
My journey continues each day
The freedom of joy consumes me
This freedom I have always craved
The body I wore is no longer
My heart and my mind is my soul
It travels through time and gets stronger
Here is unlike anything I thought would unfold
My heart doesn't beat in a chest
Instead it floats in the stars full of love
My conscienceness doesn't rest
It flies through the universe like a dove
The freedom of love is around me
My journey continues each day
The freedom of joy consumes me
This freedom I have always craved
