These Four walls

Bkay 2004 (Pretoria)

My mind speaks too loud, and my heart is forced to listen The soundwaves hit on one of these walls and the echo comes back even louder These four corners are home to my mind A figment of my imagination, this is where I would find you every night These four corners are endless We envisioned ourselves soaring through the sky, to the land of Thai, your favorite place to be Became our place to see Until the pronoun us could no longer be These four corners are my whole world You still manipulate the scenes and settings But I look everywhere, and you're nowhere to be found I'm claustrophobic But this small box was there before you Kept me warm before you But only came to life when you, my favorite wish, came true The day you left, the fire between us burned blue My pillow still has the marks of the tear drops that burned through These four vertices loved you too much They think I'm the reason you left They stand with my evanasce fist marks trying to break out My heart expanded, the silver stretch marks can still be seen The scratch marks are proof that love has lived here A gun was shot The bullet missed But my heart is pierced
