The Battle
Light is that of the cherished
Dark is that of the banished
Light lets in only the select few
Yet Darkness embraces anything and everything
Darkness will take both good and evil
It will leave the willing alone and corrupt all others
it will feed off their fear, their hurt, their pain, their
despair, it will crush their hopes n dreams, their love n goals
it is the absence of everything
it is the presence of nothing
it is the things lost
it is the things never found
The Darkness can conceal all yet reveal it
The light can show it all yet blind it
The heart of the Light is also the heart of the Dark,
it is the power of the day, it is the weakness of the night,
it is the foreshadowing the life of the day and telling the truth
of the Dead of the Night.
