To Mya* From PaPa
Michael Watkins 1965 (San Diego)
You're the oldest of the girls
and I need you to be strong,
Setting A good example-
helps the others move along,
You have A responsibility
to be A mentor in their life,
Guiding them and teaching them
will help them turn out right,
Sometimes it may get tough
and you feel like giving up,
Be stronger than you think you can
don't let the devil call your bluff,
Every negative thought you have-
that's him trying to have his way,
You're Beautiful, Black and Intelligent
don't let nothing ruin your day,
Be positive because we Love you
we know someday you'll be Great,
And laugh about these Up's and downs
We got you* You'll be Straight.
By. Michael A Watkins.
