The Night

Waiting for the night.
Fighting to survive.
Trying to hide the fright.
Glad to be alive.
In the morn, the sun will arise.
Awake and open your eyes
Today is a new light.
The future looks bright.
The past has been spent.
Make the most of the present.
Now is the time to embrace.
The sun's rays burn my face.
Elements are Unforgiving.
No care of affects on the living.
But the world keeps on spinning.
Counting down until the sun sets.
When the night arrives I  won't fret.
Soon the Moon and stars will shine.
The Universe is such a perfect design.
Look to the sky.
A beauty gifted to the eyes.
Live in the here and now.
Stress, worry will bring you down.
Allow the burden to be lifted.
Enjoy this moment, it's what was gifted.
