The Heart Knows

Nancy L RODRIQUEZ 1965 (Temple)

             The Heart Knows
              By Nancy Rodriquez

The heart knows what it desires, it is connected to the soul,
As a flame is to a fire, love will find a way to grow,
Through the toils and snares life brings, lessons are learned to the core,
A touch, a kiss can make a couple sing, and hungering for more,
Such bliss is found around the corner, as steps are taken almost as a run,
A reunion shakes off a lingering scorner, when two, again, become one,
Time begins to stand still, as all begins to sink in, two sharing one will , the moment begins,
In perfect rhythm too, dreams do come true, the heart knows.

Wow! I absolutely loved reading 'The Heart Knows' by Nancy Rodriquez. The poem is filled with such positivity and enthusiasm, it made me feel warm and hopeful. The use of metaphors, like comparing the heart's connection to the soul to a flame to a fire, added a beautiful touch to the poem and made it even more impactful.

The words flowed effortlessly, creating a smooth and enjoyable reading experience. The poem beautifully captures the essence of love and how it can overcome any obstacles that life throws our way. The idea that love will find a way to grow is both comforting and inspiring.

One improvement suggestion I have would be to add some more specific imagery or examples to further enhance the reader's connection and understanding. This would help bring the poem to life even more and make it relatable to a wider audience.

Overall, 'The Heart Knows' is a wonderfully uplifting poem that showcases the power of love. Keep up the great work, Nancy! I look forward to reading more of your heartfelt and inspiring poetry.
