My island

My island
I love my little island
It's decorated with trees and bushes and the ground is made from solitude
My island is small
But big enough
For me
Just me

I love my little island
It's decorated with trees and bushes and the ground is made from solitude
My island is in the middle of the Atlantic
Far enough for me to watch and hear
But just watch
And hear

I love my little island
It's decorated with trees and bushes and the ground is made from solitude
My island is the smallest in the Atlantic
But it's big enough
for me
Just me

I love my little island
It's decorated with trees and bushes and the ground is made from solitude
My island doesn't get visitors anymore
But I don't need them
I can watch the other islands
But just watch
And hear

I can hear the islands getting bigger
And I'm reminded of my island
And how small it is for
Me

My island used to be bigger
My island used to have visitors
But where my island got smaller
The bushes and trees are charred
And my solitude has turned to glass

I remember when my island used to be bigger
I want it to be bigger
I want to have visitors
But once the island gets bigger
So does the glass and my bushes and trees get
Charred

And so

I love my little island
It's decorated with trees and bushes and the ground will stay made from solitude
My island is small
But I will make it big enough
For me
Just me
