THE PERFECT TEAM (Chapter One)
CHAPTER ONE: NINE LONG MONTHS
Mother have to carry around some extra weight
She's waiting anxiously for the unborn to quake
She had been watching her diet at each meal she ate
She had given up smoking just to give the unborn a break.
The unborn will be inside for nine long months
For some it can be longer or shorter
'cause it has to do how things are reeling
Mother is paying attention to how the unborn is feeling
She knows that feeding time includes two mouths.
Mother is paying attention what food to eat before eating
She is selecting what liquid to drink before drinking
She is checking what aspirin to take before taking
She hopes that her child will be all right
With the breathing
With the growing
With the thinking
She will not blame it all on the environment
'cause it isn't looking right.
Now;
Mother is in the hospital with intense pain
She kept pushing and struggling with each effort gain
Finally with a found relief
The newborn is finally retrieved
"It's a girl"
Mother is feeling exhausted and relieved.
