About Love

Pastoral
Love feels great
And I state:

We wish to find
 The perfect partner, so kind.

They want to satisfy us with bliss,
And we don’t need to wish.

Is a smile
 complex?

To know what’s
Right from wrong?

But to be satisfied in the spirit,
We must find Jesus’s merit.

With grace we cannot earn,
So don’t try, so in hell we won’t burn.

We read the Bible
And find it viable.

Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But the love of the spirit will never hurt me at our homes.

The spirit of God will satisfy,
And the flesh will never gratify.
