Thief

Alishba AG 2004 (karachi)

Depression is a thief, making us forget about our happy memories, stealing laughters,
Hiding sunny memories in forgotten corners.
They slip through our fingers like smoke,
A  bittersweet reminder of what's been stolen,
a hollow echo in the emptiness, a desperate attempt to reclaim what's gone.
Memories a desolate wasteland where joy once bloomed.

About this poem
