Poet & Poem Collision
On a breathtaking sunset view
An idea came out of the blue
Sharp chills of that winter season
Brought unexplored new horizon
The warmth on that summer day
Awaken words in its usual play
Pen and paper on her hand
Remnants scattered on the sand
A series of poems were completely created
Powerful emotions were vividly stated...
But a part of her longs for this something
Unknown force of a different feeling...
She wants to be the words written
Like a lingering sting once bitten
Permanent tattoos drawn on a human flesh
Shivers from a strange cold air - so fresh
That night when all the lights were out
She discovered what it's all about
She's ready to write and all were set
It was at that moment...
She dreams to be the poem, not the poet.
About this poem
This poem represents a poet's unspoken words - neither said nor heard. Because from writing emanates this amazing feeling, the ability of creating something but at the same time, it awakens that sort of longing - a dream to be the subject of someone else's own writing.
