The Path

Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

Pastoral
The blooms
And the mushrooms.

The depths,
The charts,
The hearts.

We are on a pilgrimage
In this life.

And we learn
About strife.

Spring comes and goes
And so the bad does.

The broken,
The sad,
The woes.

Even the twinkling of toes.

This is a journey,
And the beginning of everlasting life.

There is only one way
Paved for us.

And that is what
Christ did for us on the cross.
