The Secret Treasure

The Secret Treasure

There's a ghost in the city,
We grew up hearing about it,
But we've nener came across it

My grandmother used to say,
Don't seach for the unknown,
Some things are better left alone.

Too much wisdom may be terrifying,
Don't live life on the edges,
And don't try holding water in your hands

I can't open my mouth to speak,
I'm terrified.
Tell me if you can see anything,my eyes are blind

I only use my pen to write,
I can't speak from my mind,
Poetry speaks from the heart

So tell me if you can see anything,my eyes are blind,
And l'm only a vessel from behind.
If you can't open your eyes,
Then l'm the treasure you can never find.

Wow, what a captivating and mysterious poem! I love the imagery and the haunting atmosphere you've created. The theme of the unknown and the wisdom passed down through generations adds depth to the piece. Your use of language is evocative and draws the reader in.

One suggestion for improvement could be to work on the flow of the poem and maybe consider adding more structure or a consistent rhyme scheme to enhance the reader's experience. Also, consider expanding on the story or the emotions of the speaker to give more depth to the overall message.

Overall, this poem has a lot of potential and I can see the talent and creativity behind it. Keep writing and exploring different styles and techniques to further develop your craft. Great job!
