The Beach

Free verse
Standing on my porch
my bathing suit on
waves are crashing down
I never want to be gone
I can’t wait to swim
go grab my boogie board
all my cousins with me
big waves make me

                  R
We were there all day
but now it's almost night
When I swim in the dark
It’s just a little fright
watching the golden sun go down
good day but time for bed now

About this poem

It’s about me when I was little at my cape cod house with my cousins.
