Onward in Growth

It's a long road ahead, but not one quite as lonely
Though I see more clearly, most days, it's me only,
To keep it together inside my mind, stand tall against thoughts from which id normally hide.
To open up when it's time, even if I feel dumb
To press forward against the odds, when I'm entirely numb.
The road less traveled is not in vain
But in growth there will still be a lot of rain
So I must persist to fight!
Pursue what lurks in the night.
Stand bold among shadows, against wolves and snakes. Remain true on character in the face of fakes.
Even when it's more than I think I can bare , onward I must go, brave enough to continue breathing air, and to maintain self care
No, life is not fair, life is not just
But it is ourselves, we must remain and hold onto that trust
So thrust forward into change
Allow life to rearrange
Hold still in your hope to prevail
And onward we will continue to sail..
