Do Not Listen With Your Ears

Do not listen with your ears
Instead, listen with your heart
To the things He wants you to hear
Someday, with Him, to be a part.
For in His ways we shall walk
Helping those in need
Sharing with them His talks
Showing the way indeed.
The parables of which He spoke
Guiding us along the way
Shows us what we should invoke
To forever with Him stay.
He was perfect, Jesus the Christ
In all He said and would do
Born to all that Holy Night
So He could save me & you.
But it takes an effort on our part
We must follow His lead
To show the love within our hearts
To everyone who is in need.
