Seeing You In The Moonlight

Mellow is the moonlight as we hold each
                                 other by the seashore...
Soft and gentle is the tide as that glistening
                                           light hits the water...
                                  ...I'm with you once more.

Never again do I walk down by the sands when
daylight lets these eyes see footprints
                                          that may hurt my heart...
Why do my days last so long with me and
                                          my only love now apart.

Soft is a sunset that now kisses the horizon
                                                    as the light fades...
Once again do I see that mellow moon shine
as the light glistens on these tidal waters
...another night so short, please my dear
                                                          ...pray be mine.
