The King

Lost in the time, some decades ago..
When the kings of kings rule played the role.
Brash and power were the qualities found .
Well known for the slaughterings and conquerings owned!

But alas were the dwellers who lived the reign .
With an angst and fear of the crown's wrath.

Until one day,
fell the mercy of the heavenly gods.
Walked in a man with grace and pride,
from the outskirts of the tribe.

Happiness and liveliness were reborn again..
On the faces of the dwellers who suffered disdain.

But the fading vision of the mighty king
Led to the slaughter of the man...
Dumbstruck by grief,on demise of man..
United the crowd to fight the sinner.

Once again rejoiced the dwellers of state..
Rewarded the visitor as the king for once and all.
