Thoughts Of A Broken Heart

Maybe it was a mistake
Maybe it was a lesson
Maybe it was something else
Maybe I thought it was a blessing
Maybe it was never meant to go too far
Maybe I will never know who you truly are
Maybe I still have more growing up to do
Maybe I should havae never put my trust in you
Maybe this was my eye opener
Maybe Im jusdt one step closer
To finiding the epitome of happiness
Maybe Im just not meant to be happy
Maybe just maybe this is my destiny
Maybe Im supposed to be a martyr
A way for people to open their eyes
To stop walking around blinded and finally realize
That the one thing that they were searching for
Was right in front of them all along
Maybe I should stop tryign
Maybe I should let it go
Maybe my heart says one thing
But my mind knows better
Maybe I just want to save some
Maybe I thought you needed saving
Maybe I fell for the possibility of what could have been
Maybe Ill never learn my lesson
Maybe there is no such thing as a blessing
Maybe I was blinded to
Maybe you are just like the others
Maybe I was so caught up in trying to see the good in you
That I f*ck*d up and overlooked the evil to
Maybe Im just crazy
Maybe I just think to much
Maybe I should just forget all about you
And let whatever this could have been
Just be a distant dream
