True Innocence

It was taken when I was young,
It came back here and there,
Time was cruel to me.
It was honest and true,
Sometimes it was masked,
And given no chance to spread.
Like water in an ocean,
Like butter on bread,
And like love in hearts.
Returing to myself,
my youth and proper mind,
To the glory days when I was respected.
