Tsunami
You never know the time nor place,
When there's a threat to the human race,
Have a holiday and enjoy the sun,
Always appreciate things you've done.
Within only minutes all beauty is lost,
Death and destruction a diabolical cost,
Earthquakes and tsunami's horiffic they be,
The worst as known soon becomes history.
A major shift in the Earth's crust,
Wrecking buildings churning them with dust,
Then the sea sweeps across the land,
Tragedies of this kind we don't understand!
Walls of water ten meters high,
Mud and slush everywhere it'll lie,
Cars and drivers tossed like toys,
Not a trace of what each enjoys.
Holidaymakers are amongst the dead,
Battered and drowned while in their bed,
Early in the morning no warning at all,
Countries they suffered the large and small!
