Power of the pen

O mighty pen why are you so powerful
When all you do is write in a journal
O mighty pen why are you so strong
When all you do is write all along

Ah well you want to know
Then I shall tell you so
When my writing in the journal is published
  All of the words in it by the people are cherished
When the words  I write are heard
Then people’s opinions are stirred
All I do is write when I’m bored
But what I write is mightier than a sword
