Carnival from Hell
Demons and slinking things,
Audience terrified.

CARNIVAL OF TERROR (16/05/2021)
Carnival in town
Entertains an audience,
Of rancid corpses.

CULT OF TERROR (16/05/2021)
A cult of terror
Controls its members by fear,
No-one dares depart.

THE HERD (16/05/2021)
Herd of nightmare beasts
Not from any sane planet,
Circling human prey.

A HINT OF KINDNESS (16/05/2021)
Just a hint of kindness
From the stoniest heart,
Before he kills you.

A LIVING SWARM (16/05/2021)
Baleful living swarm
Of giant bat-like creatures,
Hunts humanity

ONCE-WERE PEOPLE (16/05/2021)
Carnival from Hell
Unspeakable acts performed,
By once-were people.

PHANTOM DANCERS LEAP (16/05/2021)
Phantom dancers leap
Gracefully into the air,
Killing as they land.

PUMPING (16/05/2021)
Horrid putresence
Pumping quickly in and out,
Like an obscene heart.

SHADOWY DANCERS (16/05/2021)
Shadowy dancers
Pirouetting with great skill,
Killing instantly.

A THING FROM HADES (16/05/2021)
A thing From Hades
Red-skinned with jagged fangs,
Stalking the living.

AN UNDERGROUND CRYPT (16/05/2021)
Evil creatures crawl
Through an underground crypt,
Hunting out human prey.

THE UNSUSPECTING
Unsuspecting walk
Along the dark night streets,
Unaware of danger.

UNWELCOME MOURNERS
Unseen figures stalk
Among unwary mourners,
Sporting black attire.

A VALKYRIE FLIES
A Valkyrie flies
To the aid of warriors,
Fallen in battle.

THE VALKYRIES (III)
Beautiful maidens
Riding upon winged-chargers,
To claim dead heroes.

VAST, HIDEOUS MONSTERS
Hideous monsters
Too vast to contemplate,
Crushing all before them.

THE VOICE OF THE NIGHT (I)
The voice of the night:
The song of the siren,
Calling you to your doom.

WAVES OF FEAR
Waves of fear washing
Through your heart and soul as
The dark night awakens.

A WEB OF DEATH
Segmented monsters
Like vast, unearthly spiders,
Weave a web of death.

WAILING IN THE NIGHT (I)
Dreadful wailing sounds
Ringing out into the night;
Lost souls in torment.

WAKE IN FRIGHT
Evil, slender fingers
Gouging at your eyeballs,
Waking you in fright.

WARNING SIGNS OF DEATH
Shadowy figures
Flitting just out of your reach,
Warning signs of death.

WARNING SIGNS OF PERIL
Warning signs of peril
Danger lurking nearby,
Readying to pounce.

WARNINGS OF DANGER
Warnings of danger
Omens of death approaching,
Evil on the wind.

THE WASTELANDS (21/03/2009)
Death stalks the wastelands
An icy, frozen nowhere,
Nothing lives here now.

THE WAY OUT (21/03/2009)
Heavy hearts heaving
As evil surrounds us all,
Is there no way out?

A WEREWOLF AMONG US (I)
Mournful howling comes
From an upstairs bedroom:
A werewolf among us.

THE WEREWOLF CURSE
When the werewolf curse
Takes you, you howl at the moon;
Loping on all fours.

WEREWOLVES HUNTING
Werewolves run unseen;
Thunder through the dark town, hunting
Through streets and alleys.

A WEREWOLF KNOCKING
A werewolf knocking
on the door to your room,
At least in your dreams.

WHAT NIGHTMARES COME
Chitinous horrors
Covered in horns and spines,
Like giant arachnids.

WHEN SLEEPING DEMONS WAKE
When demons wake
Night creatures hide, while humans
Sleep blissfully on.

WHIRLING, PHANTOM IMAGES
Whirling, phantom images
Float around your bed,
Waking you to terror.

A WILD THING POISED (I)
A wild thing poised
Ready to leap at you,
Springing for your throat.

A WINGED FURY
A winged fury
Soaring through the dark night sky,
Searching for live prey.

A WINGED SHOGGOTH
A winged Shoggoth
Soaring through the dark night sky,
Searching for live prey.

WISPY FIGURES
Wispy figures move
Through the deep shadows,
Near the corner of your eye.

WISPY SHADOWS (21/03/2009)
Wispy shadows move
Swaying side to side in glee,
Evil all about.

THE WOLFMAN
The wolfman sleeps near
In the room next door to yours,
Rising at full moon.

YELLOW EYES (15/03/2009)
Shining jet black eyes,
With piercing, yellow pupils,
And no whites at all.

YOUR NIGHTMARES AWAIT
Something is watching
Hidden from view by the night,
Your nightmares await.

YOUR DARK HALF
After your good half sleeps
You wake to find evil,
Committed in your name.

YOUR DARK HALF WAKENS
When your good half sleeps
Your dark half wakens,
Committing untold evil.

DEATH DREAMS (II)
Death fills all your dreams
Terror your waking moments;
Fear your only friend.

ZOMBIES
People parade by
outside your window, at night,
With eyes blank from death.

SPINIFEX
Lifeless tundra where
There once had been animals;
Spinifex blows past.

SPIRIT VOICES CALLING
Spirit voices calling
From a desert of darkness,
Warn death lurks nearby.

AN UNSEEN TERROR (I)
An unseen terror
Chews lightly on your shoulder,
Hoping you’ll waken.

UNSPEAKABLE HORRORS
Dungeon-like cellars
In dusty old buildings,
Housing unspeakable horrors.
