Analysis of The shadowy creeper

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

Shadowy faceless thing
Creeping slowly through the night,
Killing swiftly.

Shadowy faceless fiend
Reaching out into the night,
Doing evil.

Shadowy faceless beast
Sleeping through the daylight,
Frightening the dreamers.

Shadowy creature
Peeping down from a great height,
Watching passing prey.

Shadowy monster
Seeking a living diet,
To kill and feast on.
