Analysis of NIGHT HUNTERS CALLING

Night hunters bellowing
As darkness starts to fall,
Hope is on the wane as
The hunters start to call:

Calling to their mates
To surround a likely prey,
Hunting, catching, rending, gorging
Until the break of day.

Night creatures calling
A high and shrilling sound,
Evil on the road tonight
Death and fear around.

Nothing dares to move as
Hunters stalk the night,
Hoping soon to feast on
Wary travellers passing by.

Night bellows signal
Death is on the way,
Cow’ring figures hiding
Hoping to see the day.

Wayward journeyers meet
Death as hunters abound,
Through this dreadful evening
When no safety can be found.

Death is on the prowl
And the careful stay inside,
Afraid to walk the dark
Through which dark hunters ride.

Lonely travellers seek
Dark caverns to reside,
As the night-time doth descend
This could be the night they die.
