Analysis of MOLTEN FIRE
Molten fire
flowing through my veins
Razor blades
slash within my brain,
Burning fire-drops
seep to my fist
Searing up ‘long my arm
from my fire-sown wrist.
Molten agony
the pain flows on again
Lasting for hours
I’d swear I’m half insane,
Agony intensifies
as through my arm it flows
Till excrutiating agony is
the only thing I know.
Molten fire burning
from my elbow to wrist
My hand is surely burning
Too sore to form a fist,
Burning agony keeps
climbing to my brain
Burning like my vein’s afire
until I’m near-insane!
THE END

About this poem
After receiving harsh antibiotics in 2007, to cure a lung infection, my right hand and arm to the elbow were sore and numb for a week.
