Analysis of WHY DO LITTLE BABIES CRY?
Why do little babies cry
As their fathers go off to die?
In this time of pain and hate
Why can't evil e'er be sate?
Why must all the good men die
As lonely women e'er cry!
Why can't haters just forgive
So the fathers all can live?
Why must little babies grieve
As off to war their fathers leave?
When only human monsters rule
Why must the leaders be so cruel?
Can the killing never end
Is this the message we must send,
To all the future generations
As we murder other nations?
Can there never be repentance?
As good people all pass sentence?
Finding all the rulers mad
When goodness all has turned to bad!
Why do little babies cry
As their fathers march off to die?
