Analysis of Our Best To Do

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Doing our best to do it,
Is becoming an every day task.
And 24/7.
With each step to take.
As time quickly passes.
Leaving no one to look back,
At mistakes to make to correct them made.
Gone to fade,
Are those procrastinating slow pace days.
And challenges to schedule,
For a more convenient appropriate time.
To make up our minds,
Whether our best to do to leave behind...
That which can not be changed.
In the hopes that what remains the same,
Will deliver a different result.
If we pretend not to notice,
Our addiction and love for repetition.
And with a sharing of this enjoyed,
By others annoyed.
But...
For whatever the reason that 'fix' to get,
Is needed is...
Few are willing to admit,
A better life to live it...
Is not a given.
But a commitment to do it,
Not to hear it said but a doing done...
24/7.
