Analysis of THE HARPIES
Evil, shrieking harridans
Chased a man ten years ago,
Pursued him past the point
Where sanity had flown.
Evil shrieking harridans
Pursue a man without right,
They call this man a monster
Yet offer up no proof.
Evil, shrieking harridans
Cosseted by corrupt police,
Who turning blind eyes to their act
Condemn sixteen kids to death.
Ten years later in Dunblane’s school
The man no longer fully sane,
Walking o’er realities edge
Pulls out four handguns.
Evil, shrieking harridans
Still won’t take the blame for,
Sixteen young lives were wiped out
By a victim of shrieking shrews.
Evil, yellow media label
A victim “a monster” because,
It will sell more newspapers
Than printing the truth!

About this poem
The last time I put this poem up on a site, it was taken down after 24-hours because it "Offended some people!" I'm not sure why the truth would offend anyone.
