The Wheel of Life
Has no beginning
And no ending.
And yet within this numinous wheel
We in petty imagination
Create a sene of Time…
A sense of Space
With a seeming Present
With a seeming Past.
With a seeming Future
Where dreams come true
Within this frame of thought …
We move, we breathe.
We have our being,
Comprehending seasons …
And their manifold changes
Bounded alas by a mirage
The mirage of Time and Space.
And yet the Wheel of Life
Implores us to discern
This deeper Truth:
Each of us embodies precious elements
Of eternal galaxies
Always being transformed …
With no discerning beginnings,
No conclusive endings
We are, we have been …
We shall evermore be
A shining immortal light—
The Eternal Wheel of Life.

About this poem
This poem was composed without the conscious influence of any cultural, philosophical, social, or spiritual beliefs to hinder the possibilities of its interpretations. It was conceived by the poet’s fertile mind making observations that all of human life, all of human existence, all of human activity appears to be electromagnetically wavelike in its transformation, inert or suffused with energy, constantly changing; and constantly changeable, like a spinning wheel that weaves a pattern without ceasing, and even when seemingly at pause, is merely at a resting state — creation at rest, but never ceasing. We are collectively conjured by our dreams that unite us all, collectively, as brethren of the same dreams. more »
