Analysis of Mother
On the thirtieth day of July,
My heat felt heavy, you made me cry,
I never thought, in a million years,
That this was the date of my worst fears.
It happened so quickly,
It happened so fast,
I always thought,
You’d last and last.
You tripped and fell,
And split your lip,
Collapsed in his arms,
In a subtle fit.
The ambulance stayed,
They weren’t ready to go,
They worked very quickly,
But your heartbeat was slow.
Twenty minutes passed,
You were still in the back,
Fighting to stay,
But God called you back.
Two hours later,
I kissed you Goodbye,
I held your hand,
And began to cry.
Your life is over,
And I’m still a mess,
I Love you Mom,
So I’ll try my best.
So this was the day,
My worst nightmare came true,
Living without you,
Will be so hard to do.
I’ll carry you with me,
Deep in my Heart,
God took you Home,
But we’re never apart.
