Analysis of THE CULT OF DEATH

A cult of death comes out at night
To conjure demons up from Hell,
Shrilling, shrieking, low chanting
Performing rites they know so well.

A blood-stained altar is a'centre
Of a magic circle drawn in sea salt,
A naked virgin is brought forward
Tied spread-eagle to the altar.

Raising high a sharpened athame
A warlock is chanting evil words,
Then as the athame is brought down
Only screaming can be heard.

The cult of death comes out at night
Performing naked, ritual dancing,
Orgies occur just beneath the altar
Singing, cavorting, evil prancing.

Satan is their greatest God
They invoke his name in foul chorus
And all the demons he will summon,
Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus.

As the witching hour nears
The warlock summons all to dance,
Around the unholy, blood-stained altar
Witches, warlocks, and demons prance.
