Analysis of Long Term Long Distance

Long Term Long Distance 1994 (United States)

Sometimes I watch tv
the characters I see
and I wish it was me
because then I'd have a reason
to feel lonely (like I'm dying inside)

The pictures of you with her
give me chills
because I know what your face looks like
when you are genuinely happy

But the joke is on me
because towards the end I treated you ugly

Isn't interesting how being committed
doesn't mean shit when you are not with him

that physical touch that physical presence
means all the difference when all you need is his essence...
