Analysis of IN THE DARK AND LONELY NIGHT
In the dark and lonely night
Predators are on the prowl,
Slinking slowly toward you
Unseen creatures begin to howl.
Sinister shadows follow you
Through the darkened streets,
As innocents about to die, are
Unwary of whom they meet.
Evil beings hunting after dark
Looking for some juicy quarry,
A guileless couple strolling by
Unaware of any need to worry.
Prehistoric monsters roaming
Reptiles from another era,
Racing fast toward their prey
Spreading unrelenting terror.
In the dark and lonely night
Horror lurks in dark alleyways,
Hunting humans to feast upon
Beneath the evil blood moon's rays.
Unimaginable animals
Out of time and space,
Joining in the devil's chorus
As apprehension fill this place.
Trepidation fills the dire streets
As obscene baying fills the air,
Jackals? Hyaena? El Chupacabra?
Who knows what may be lurking there?
Out of the gloomy forest near
Wolf-like snarling does surround,
In the dark and lonely night
Who knows what beasts are around?
THE END
