Analysis of THE GRIM AVENGER

The grim avenger goes stalking
Through the loathsome night,
Searching out the unwary
'Til the hint of new day's light.

Hunting through the darkness
Creeping down dark alleyways,
Seeking out the broken people
With nowhere safe to stay.

Lurking in the shadows
To pounce out on his prey,
Shredding lives like paper
Until the light of day.

Lost and lonely people
Walk home in night's shade,
Then as the avenger strike
Know of the error they've made.

Slinking round dark archways
Throughout this awful place,
Pouncing upon the unsuspecting
Who vanish without a trace.

Night-time is his time
When evil deeds are done,
When streets run red with blood
Of all the homeless ones.

Endless death and despair
Follow in his wake,
Silhouettes of his victims
All the lives he takes.
