Analysis of Hot wind

I remember seeking you like crickets in the summer sun, capturing them in hand prisons, looking through tiny peepholes then taking ear to their chirping and watching as they sprung across fields of swaying sun scorched grass, like the first time an alphabet is sung perfectly,
you wanting to show me things so eagerly.
